Training within the framework of the academic discipline "Information and Telecommunication Systems" on the topic "Criminal Intelligence: Components of the Process of Collection, Evaluation, Data Arrangement, Logical Justification" brings the educational process closer to the needs of practical units of the National Police of Ukraine and improves the practical skills of future law enforcement officers through additional study of the criminal analysis process, namely: the algorithm for compiling schemes of events, actions, and analysis of telephone numbers.

Thus, during the discussion of the features of constructing schemes of the sequence of events, a plot was considered on the possible establishment of such a type of criminal activity as “covering up”. The cadets vividly expressed their vision of the solution to the exercise and came to the conclusion that the scheme of events should be developed at an early stage of the analysis of a multi-episode event to clarify the timing of the events taking place and their interrelationship.

In addition to university representatives, the training was attended by a foreign guest from the "Police Exchange Program 2017" of the European Police College (CEPOL) - Lieutenant of the Spanish Civil Guard Patricia Angulo Llanos.

In general, the training participants learned about the nature and weaknesses of organized crime, acquired the skills necessary to analyze large amounts of information from various sources and form a high-quality report, which will certainly help them in their future work in law enforcement agencies to combat crime.
