Members of the Association actively participate in the international training "Information Analysis in Investigating Money Laundering and Corruption Cases"

On December 7, 2015, the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs, for the first time in Ukraine, launched the training "Information Analysis in Investigating Money Laundering and Corruption Cases", initiated by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODS).

The training was attended by more than 20 representatives from the Criminal Intelligence Department of the National Police of Ukraine, the Interpol Ukrburo of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Economic Protection Department of the National Police of Ukraine, the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Lviv Region, the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, the National Academy of Internal Affairs, etc.

Traditionally, the event was opened by the rector of the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs, Korystin O.E., welcoming everyone present at our university, and introducing the distinguished guests: the head of the UNODC Global Program on Combating Money Laundering, Feshchenko O.Yu., the World Bank Asset Recovery Advisor, Nigel Bartlett, the expert of the UNODC Global Program on Combating Money Laundering, Bugayets Kateryna, and others.

The purpose of this course is to provide analysts and operational staff with the knowledge necessary to analyze large volumes of information from various sources and form correct analytical conclusions from this information.

It should be noted that the training will last from December 7 to 18, 2015. 22 sessions will be held for its participants, during which they will be able to consider issues related to: the analytical process; analysis of relationships; formation and evaluation of conclusions; analysis of telephone conversations; drawing up diagrams, flows, events and actions; concepts and strategies of analysis using a computer, etc.

Upon completion of the two-week course, participants will receive an ANACAPA & UNODS certificate.
