
TRAINING OF THE EUROPEAN UNION ADVISORY MISSION ON LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
On May 17, 2017, with the participation of members of the All-Ukrainian Association of Scientists and Specialists in the Field of Operational and Investigative Activities, the European Union Advisory Mission’s Leadership and Management Training began at the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs.
The training is attended by heads of patrol police response sectors of territorial departments and branches of the Main Police Department in the Odessa region, as well as representatives of the Odessa Patrol Police Department.
The training is conducted by leading experts in this field – EUAM Trainer William Brame, EUAM Lead Advisor Martin Heil, Head of the EUAM Law Enforcement Component Isabelle Toren, Head of the EUAM Operations Department Udo Moeller and EUAM Head of Mission Kestutis Lansinskas.
Five priorities of the Mission should be highlighted, namely: separation of powers, police-community interaction, public order, criminal investigations, and personnel management.

The EU Advisory Mission has three areas of activity: providing strategic frameworks for reforming the civilian security sector, supporting the implementation of reforms, and cooperation and coordination. Upon completion of the training, all participants receive international certificates from the European Union Advisory Mission.
