Odessa State University of Internal Affairs conducts practical classes using elements of training in the academic discipline "Fundamentals of Criminal Analysis"

On February 12, the professor of the Department of Cybersecurity and Information Support, Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Oleksandr ZAYTS, conducted a practical lesson using elements of the training in the academic discipline "Fundamentals of Criminal Analysis".

During the lesson, the second-year cadets of the Faculty of Training of Specialists for Criminal Police Units acquired skills in building schemes of events, actions, and learned to analyze phone calls.

By performing practical tasks, the cadets were able to determine the role of suspects in human life and activities, identify patterns in the formation of character traits. They became familiar with practical methods for analyzing large data sets.

Using the developed situations, the teacher focused the cadets' attention on detailing the vital activities of suspects in order to establish their involvement in committing criminal offenses.

The cadets actively participated, were interested in the work, and had lively discussions about the considered situational tasks and through-plots.
