In recent years, organized crime has undergone a transformation in our country, the number of organized criminal groups has increased, which have a clear hierarchical structure, use the latest technical means of ensuring illegal activity, counteracting law enforcement agencies.

In this regard, the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine are faced with the need to clarify the conditions for the formation and existence of organized criminal groups, the mechanisms they have chosen to commit crimes, the role of each participant in the criminal group in this process, the movement of shadow and certain legal financial flows that are the basis for the existence of these groups or, conversely, the subject of their criminal interests, the functioning of the infrastructure of organized crime, etc.
