OPERATIONAL AND INVESTIGATIVE ACTIVITIES OF THE NATIONAL POLICE: PROBLEMS OF THEORY AND PRACTICE

On October 20, 2017, the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, together with the Criminal Investigation Department of the National Police of Ukraine, is holding the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Operational and Investigative Activities of the National Police: Problems of Theory and Practice”.

The work of the conference is planned in the following areas:

  • modern problems of the theory of operational and investigative activities;
  • observance of human rights during operational and investigative activities and the implementation of covert investigative (search) actions;
  • organization of the work of criminal police units;
  • legal and informational and analytical support for operational and investigative activities of the National Police;
  • current problems of conducting operational and technical measures and the use of special equipment during operational and investigative counteraction to crimes;
  • operational and investigative counteraction to certain types of crimes;
  • interaction of operational units with other police units and law enforcement agencies during the counteraction to crimes;
  • current problems of conducting covert investigative (search) actions.

Working language of the conference: Ukrainian.

Scientific and pedagogical workers, adjuncts dealing with problems of operational and investigative activities, practical workers of operational units of law enforcement agencies are invited to participate in the conference. Preliminary publication of the conference materials in collections of open and closed press is envisaged. Requirements for the preparation of abstracts of reports (messages) are attached.

In order to timely form the conference program and publish materials, it is necessary to send an application for participation in the conference (form attached) and abstracts of reports to the organizing committee no later than October 12, 2017.
